Additional services

The website package includes everything you need. These are features that some people require — appointment booking, multilingual support and a point-of-sale system. Each has a fixed price, and you can add them when placing your order or at a later date.

Two things worth knowing

Additional services are built into the theme, not as plugins. WordPress plugins are an easy way to add a feature quickly, but each one consists of code that is maintained – or neglected – by someone else. Ninety-one per cent of last year’s WordPress vulnerabilities were found in plugins. That is why these functions are written directly into the website: less code, fewer updates to manage, fewer things to go wrong.

You can add these later. None of these require the website to be rebuilt. If an online booking system becomes necessary in a year’s time, it will be added then at the same price as now. So start with what you know you need.

What’s already included in the package

You don’t need to order these separately — they’re included in every website package: mobile-friendly design, search engine optimisation, an SSL certificate, a cookie banner, a contact form, Google Business Profile details, backups and updates. If you feel something is missing from the list, please ask before buying it elsewhere.
