There’s a ready-made solution for most needs, and in those cases it’s worth using it — we don’t sell code if someone else can do the same thing more cheaply. This page is for those situations where there’s no ready-made solution, or where it does almost everything right: and it’s precisely that ‘almost’ that costs working hours every week.

Four recurring tasks
Almost every order is one of these. If yours isn’t, that’s no problem — it just means we’ll spend a bit more time on the specification.
Integrations between systems
The online shop integrates with the accounting software, the booking system with the calendar, and the CRM with invoicing. Data is transferred automatically, rather than someone having to copy it manually into two places and making mistakes in the process.
Mobile apps
An app for Android and iOS built from the same code, when there’s a genuine need: fieldwork where a browser isn’t enough, or a device used every day. Not an app just for the sake of having one.
Calculators, forms and bookings
A price calculator that gives customers an instant quote, a multi-step quote request form, or a booking calendar that shows available slots. These features transform the site from a mere brochure into a tool that generates enquiries even at night.
Automation and WordPress plugins
A task that’s carried out manually every week is converted into code once and for all. Often, it’s a WordPress plugin that does exactly what you need — and not a hundred other things you don’t.
WHAT YOU GET
The code is yours, even when we stop working with you.
The greatest risk in a software project is not the cost but being locked out: the code is on the developer’s computer, the login details are in the developer’s name, and no one else can access it. This is dealt with before a single line of code is written.

The smallest version first, as it reveals the real need.
Projects undertaken with the aim of ‘getting it all done in one go’ usually fail because the requirements are misunderstood, and this is only realised at the very end.
Specification
Let’s go through what the programme needs to do and what it won’t do. This will result in a written specification, on the basis of which a price will be quoted — and against which the finished product will be assessed.
The smallest working version
First, we build the part that solves the biggest problem. You’ll be able to use it early on, meaning the rest of the specification is based on experience rather than assumptions.
The rest and the links
Other features, integrations and access rights. Draft versions are available to view at all times, so there are no surprises until handover.
Delivery and support
The code, login details and documentation will be transferred to you. For one month, we will rectify any errors free of charge — an error is not the same as a new request, and the scope is to be agreed upon.

Software development cannot be priced from a price list, as no two requirements are the same. That is why the price is based on hours — and why a written quote is provided before work begins.
A brief assessment of your requirements is free of charge. If we conclude that a ready-made add-on would be a cheaper solution, we’ll let you know and won’t charge you for the assessment.

Frequently asked questions.
How do I know whether it’s worth buying this at all?
Work out how many hours each stage of the work takes per month and how much each hour costs. If automation pays for itself in under a year, it’s almost always worth it. If the payback period stretches to over two years, it’s generally not worth it — and we’ll say so straight out, even if it means we won’t be doing business together.
Can a ready-made add-on do the same job more cheaply?
This is often possible, and when it is, it’s well worth doing. First, we check whether there is a ready-made solution available that meets your needs — buying one is almost always cheaper than having your own code developed. Developing your own code is only worthwhile if there is no ready-made solution available, if it is unreasonably expensive, or if it requires as much customisation as building something from scratch.
Who owns the code?
You. A repository is created in your account at the start of the project, so you have the code at all times, not just upon handover. Logins for external services and server credentials are also in your name. If you wish to change the developer during the project, you can do so without having to ask us for anything.
What if your requirements change during the project?
This is quite common, which is why the work is carried out in small stages. Any changes are priced separately, and we’ll let you know the cost before we carry them out — but there’s no need to fear or hide from changes. What ends up being expensive is when the wrong feature is built all the way to completion simply because that’s what was agreed.
Will the programme be maintained afterwards?
Can be maintained for a monthly fee: updates, security patches and minor changes. This is optional. The programme will work even without a contract, and we’ll fix any bugs at an hourly rate. Dependencies are chosen from the outset so that the programme won’t break if it isn’t touched for half a year.
