WEBSITES FOR BUSINESSES · MONTHLY FEE

Quick and easy websites for
your own business.

We build websites for businesses from scratch, tailored specifically to your business. No off-the-shelf templates, no website builders, and no dozens of third-party plugins keeping the site together. That’s why the site is fast — and why it won’t break with the next update.

BEFORE YOU ORDER ANYTHING

Four things you should know about websites

Even if you have them created by someone else.

01

The website builder is an invoice that is due at a later date

A page builder (such as Elementor and similar tools) is a tool that allows you to assemble pages from ready-made blocks without any coding. Pages are created quickly, but each block comes with code that nobody reads. Three years on, the site is slow, updates break the layout, and nobody dares to touch it. A revamp ends up costing twice as much.

02

Plugins are the site’s biggest risk

A plugin is a ready-made add-on developed by another developer that is installed on WordPress: a form, a photo gallery, a cookie notice. Each of these carries three risks: security, speed and compatibility with the next update. A typical WordPress site has between 20 and 40 of them. The websites we build do not contain a single third-party plugin — the necessary functionality is coded directly into the site itself, meaning there is less to update and less that can go wrong.

03

Speed is not an afterthought

A slow website cannot be fixed by simply adding a speed-optimisation plugin. What matters most is what is actually loaded onto the page: the size and format of images, the number of fonts, and the files the browser has to wait for before the page is displayed. It’s a structural choice, not a setting.

04

Search engine optimisation is built in

Headings, links between pages and machine-readable information about the company (structured data) are decided upon when the website is being designed. Making changes to them afterwards involves a lot of corrective work. The same applies to AI-powered search: ChatGPT and Google’s AI-powered answers draw on pages whose structure they can understand.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?

Similar on the surface. Not on the inside.

The last line is the one worth reading twice. A website that doesn’t work without a specific plug-in or a specific provider isn’t really yours.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE MONTHLY FEE

Everything a website needs to stay up and running.

No separate maintenance fees, no surprises when it comes to server upgrades. A single payment covers the website, its platform and the person who answers the phone.

Design and development: The layout is designed specifically for your business and coded specifically for your website. You’ll first see a clickable demo, not just a screenshot of it.
Server in Finland: A high-speed server in a Helsinki data centre, including backups and a domain name, all included in the monthly fee. No separate server charges from elsewhere.
Emails: The company’s own email addresses and their management. Works on mobile phones and desktop computers.
Content updates: You can edit the text and images yourself using WordPress’s own fields — or ask us to do it for you — one hour of updates per month is included in the price.
The foundation of discoverability: Google finds and crawls the site immediately upon publication: headings, sitemap and machine-readable information about the company are all in order. More extensive visibility work is a separate package.
The person you’re calling – the same number as the first time. No ticketing system, no chatbot, no customer service representative in between.

HOW IT’S DONE

Work begins on the same day.

We’re not having a meeting to discuss when to hold the kick-off meeting.

An order comes in

Add this directly to your to-do list. You’ll receive confirmation straight away and we’ll ring you back the same day.

SAMA PV

Let’s go through what you need

A phone call to clarify what needs to be done on the site and what material is available. No forms to fill in.

5 PV

You’re looking at the actual website, not a screenshot of it

A test link that can be clicked on both mobile phones and computers. Changes are made to this link, not to a separate image file.

8 PV

Content in place

Texts and images for the site. If there are no texts, we’ll write them — this is an additional service to be agreed separately.

2–3 weeks

Publication

The domain name will point to the new site; old addresses will be redirected. And from then on, the site will be our responsibility.

PORTFOLIO

This is what the finished website looks like.

Inari Camping & Resort’s homepage: a lakeside view at sunset and two booking buttons.
Inari Camping & Resort: a website for an accommodation provider in three languages. Separate booking systems for the hotel and the campsite, both accessible directly from the homepage.

PRICE

A one-off payment for development. No binding contract.

The set-up fee covers design and development. The monthly fee ensures that the site remains up to date — server, domain name, emails, updates and support. As the development costs have been paid, there is no need to charge for them again during the contract period: the contract is valid until further notice and the notice period is three months.

A company homepage, a company website and a company web page are different names for the same service, and the price is the same. Do you need an online shop? That’s a separate package. The same applies to search engine optimisation and AI-powered responses.

€39 per month

Do you only need a single page? 1–3 pages: €990 + €29 per month.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions.

How much does a website cost for a business?

We charge €1,490 + €39 per month, and a single-page package costs €990 + €29 per month. All prices are VAT-free (0%). In Finland, having a website built generally costs between €700 and €3,000 from a freelancer and between €3,000 and €10,000 from a digital agency — the difference depends on how many people are involved in the project. We went through how prices are set in the article ‘How much do WordPress websites cost?’.

Can you create a website for free?

Oh. Wix, Webnode and WordPress.com offer a free website, and that’s enough if you just need a single page showing your name, opening hours and telephone number. There are three things you should know in advance: the web address will include the service provider’s name, the page may display adverts, and you won’t be able to take the site with you if you want to switch providers later. A free website is a good start but a poor foundation — it’s worth setting one up knowing that it will eventually need to be completely replaced.

Where can you get affordable websites?

The cheapest price in Finland is around €250–500. For that price, you usually get a ready-made template into which you can insert your own text, images and colours. It’s a sensible purchase if that’s exactly what you need. The difference compared to more expensive options comes down to three things: who does the work, whether a website builder is used, and what happens a year later when something needs changing. We’re not the cheapest, nor do we try to be — our prices are listed above so you can compare them with others without having to ring us.

How much does WordPress cost?

WordPress itself is free, and it is used to build around 43 per cent of the world’s websites. The cost comes from elsewhere: server space, the domain name, the theme, plugins and labour. With us, the server, domain name, email accounts, backups and updates are all included in the monthly fee, and we don’t use any paid plugins — the site is hand-coded specifically for you.

Do I own the website if I terminate the contract?

The content is always yours. The website code is built for you, and it works on any standard WordPress installation without us — it isn’t locked into any plugin or provider. Upon expiry of the contract, we will agree on the transfer; the exact terms are set out in the contract terms and conditions.

Can I update the text myself?

You can. The content is stored in WordPress’s own fields, so you can edit it in the same way as on any other WordPress site. If you’d rather not, we’ll do it for you — it’s included in the monthly fee.

What if I need something that isn’t included in the package?

Booking calendar, invoicing integration, custom counter — these involve coding work and are priced separately. We’ll let you know the price before we start, and we won’t charge you any unexpected extra costs.

Is there a difference between a homepage, a website and a web page?

No. A ‘website’ for a business means the same as a ‘homepage’ or ‘web pages’ for a business — ‘website’ is the colloquial term, ‘web pages’ is the more formal one, and ‘homepage’ is the oldest. Whichever term you use, the work is the same: a 5–12-page WordPress site with its own design and code, €1,490 + €39 per month.

How many pages are included in the package?

The package includes 5–12 pages, which is sufficient for most business websites. If you need more pages, we’ll let you know the cost straight away during our phone call. For smaller requirements, there’s a single-page package: 1–3 pages, €990 + €29 per month.

What if I already have a website?

First, we’ll assess whether it’s worth fixing the existing site or building a new one. If the existing site was built using a website builder and is slow, rebuilding it is usually cheaper than fixing it. We’ll tell you straight away which option we recommend.

Will the site appear on Google straight away?

The technical foundations have been in place since launch: Google can crawl the site, machine-readable information about the company is in place, and page speed has been measured. Improving rankings for competitive search terms is a different matter — it’s part of the visibility package and doesn’t happen in a week.

What is the site like from a technical point of view? Information for the IT manager

WordPress, latest version, and a bespoke block theme written for it. No third-party plugins: forms, cookie consent, structured data and analytics are all part of the theme’s own code. Structured data in JSON-LD format (Organisation, Service, FAQ), XML sitemap and robots.txt. Cookie consent in accordance with Google Consent Mode v2. Server located in Finland, PHP 8.2, HTTPS, daily backups and server-side caching. The site is not locked into any specific environment: it runs on a standard WordPress installation. Speed is measured before publication using Google’s PageSpeed Insights, and the results are provided on request. If you require further details or a security assessment, please call us — we’ll go through them with your technical lead.
