POS system for the shop
A shop till that shares the same stock as the online shop. When a product is sold over the counter, it is also deducted from the online stock — and vice versa. One product register, one stock level, one report. No need for two systems that have to be manually reconciled in the evening.
What you get
- Checkout screen. Works on a tablet or computer. Product search, barcode scanner, discounts, multiple payment methods for a single purchase.
- Shared stock with the online shop. The same stock levels in both, updated immediately after a sale.
- Payment terminal integration. The till sends the amount to the terminal, so it does not need to be entered manually. An incorrectly entered amount is the most common till error.
- Receipts. On paper or by email. An electronic receipt is cheaper and easier for the customer to find later.
- Daily report. Sales, payment methods, discounts and VAT breakdown. The same information from both channels in a single view.
- Returns and refunds. Products purchased online can also be returned to a shop, as the order is tracked via the same system.
- Accounting export. Sales data is exported in a format that an accountancy firm can read.
Why is the price a quote rather than a fixed price?
The till is the only additional service for which I cannot promise a price in advance. The reason is that three factors vary and cannot be predicted: what equipment you use, which payment terminal the checkout system communicates with, and the specific requirements of your industry. A pharmacy, a restaurant and a clothes shop each require a different system.
Prices start from 1,200 euros. This covers a basic till system with one till point, one payment terminal and a shared stock system. Multiple till points, more complex pricing structures or integration with an existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) system will increase the price.
In practice, it works like this: you tell us what you’re selling and on which devices, and you’ll receive a written quote with a fixed price. The quote is valid for 30 days and doesn’t commit you to anything.

What equipment do I need?
At the very least, you’ll need a tablet or computer, a receipt printer and a barcode scanner. The payment terminal is provided by the payment service provider. I can source the equipment for you, or you can buy it yourself — the latter is usually cheaper.
Does this meet the requirements of the Receipts Act?
Yes. The receipt contains all the information required by law, and sales transactions are recorded in an unalterable format. This is something I’ll go through with you before we go live.
Will the till still work if the internet goes down?
It works. Sales are saved locally and transferred to the stock system when the connection is restored. However, the payment terminal requires its own connection for card payments.
What if I already have a till system?
In that case, it’s worth checking first whether you can export products and stock levels from it. If so, you can sometimes connect the online shop directly to it — it’s cheaper than changing your till system. Please let us know which system you’re using.
A written quote will be sent from the checkout; no direct orders are accepted. Please return to your order or call 046 804 5468.
